New Jersey based PCB Singles accomplishes this by providing a Free Microsoft Windows based printer driver than enables users to submit their designs for fabrication via the print capability of their design package. Image processing techniques derive through-hole locations from trace-work. PCB Prototypes are fabricated in house for a flat rate of $34.98 per 4"x6" board and can be shipped via a $1.34 USPS First Class shipping option.

PCB Singles provides prototypes on a flat rate basis. We charge $34.98 per board plus shipping and in some states tax. Users submit boards by printing designs to our printer driver and order their boards via our website. We keep the process simple - there is generally no need for any personal interaction. In the event our users have questions and/or suggestions, we employ a customer service ticket system to ensure a satisfying experience.

PCB Singles does not require the use of a specific layout application or file format. Users design their PCBs in the application of their choice. The only requirement is that the application is windows based and has print capabilities.

PCBs are submitted to PCB Singles via our free printer driver. Users print their designs as if printing to a local paper printer. The PCB Singles printer driver derives hole locations using image processing techniques and submits the user accepted PCB via the internet. Users order submitted PCBs via their My PCB Singles account via either the driver embedded browser or the web browser of their choice.

PCB Singles is tooled from the ground up to provide high quality PCB prototypes in quantities of one - hence the name PCB Singles.

At the price PCB Singles provides PCB prototypes, the cost of shipping quickly becomes a significant component of the total cost to the user. For this reason, a USPS First Class shipping option is available and is our most popular option for our domestic customers. Boards generally arrive at their destination in a few days at a rate of $1.34 per board.

A USPS Airmail shipping option is now available for our international customers. Boards generally arrive at their destination in 4 to 7 days at a rate of less than $3.61 per board.

While do-it-yourself (DIY) approaches to PCB prototype fabrication continue to evolve (toner transfer, direct ink-jet, etc.), they still require a high level of dexterity, patience and proficiency to achieve desired results. PCB Singles allows users to concentrate on their projects instead of learning and practicing labor-intensive skills.
