Free PCB Singles Printer Driver
The PCB Singles printer driver is the heart of our prototyping service. It enables us to make quality PCB prototyping accessible to the individual by providing an adapter between the individual's design environment and our in house fabrication environment. The customer is not burdened with new design software or file format conventions and we are not burdened with the specifics of every application a customer may want to use. If a customer wants to scan trace-work from a magazine and submit it to us via their scan software, they are free to do so.

Derivation of through-hole locations
Image processing techniques are used to derive through-hole locations from trace-work. The derivation mechanism generates through-holes when it finds white space that is generally round and has a diameter that is greater than 0.016" and less than 0.5".

Translation of color to black and white (copper and no copper)
Some of the applications our customers use print only color representations of their designs. Our printer driver uses an intensity filter to translate this into black and white (copper and no copper). An adjustable parameter specifies the intensity split level that is used.

Filtering of nuisance marks
A content filter can optionally be applied to designs to remove unwanted content. Some layout packages include grid points, etc. in their printed output. The filter removes these marks.

To Use PCB Singles

Design your PCBs with the software of your choice
The software you use to design your PCB does not matter to us as long as it has Microsoft Windows based print capability.

Submit designs by printing to the PCB Singles printer driver
Submit designs to PCB Singles by printing them to our printer driver. The printer driver allows designs to be review/modified and submitted to PCB Singles for fabrication. No special file formats are required.

Order PCBs via your My PCB Singles account
Use your personal My PCB Singles account to order designs that you have previously submitted. Your designs can be viewed via your My PCBs page. Each design has an Order link corresponding to it that invokes the ordering procedure. Designs can be ordered any number of times.
